MEET Fraser

Fraser COBHAM

Fraser Cobham is a natural integrative health practitioner, fully qualified in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), including acupuncture and herbal medicine, based on the South Coast of NSW. Fraser’s passion for Chinese medicine began with his own health struggles in early adulthood. Often feeling discouraged that his symptoms weren’t being adequately addressed by conventional means, he sought to understand the underlying causes. It was this drive that led him to Chinese medicine, with its rich history and philosophy. A desire to self-heal quickly evolved into a passion for helping others achieve a greater sense of health and wellbeing.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in TCM, Fraser set out to deepen his knowledge of Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM). His dedication to honouring the classics led him directly to the training of Arnaud Versluys, PhD, MD, LAc, director of the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine (ICEAM) and lineage holder of the Tian-Zeng Lineage of Classical herbal formulas. This intricate system of herbal medicine places strong emphasis on pulse diagnosis, guiding the selection of herbal formulas to treat a broad range of health concerns.

Treating more than 50 patients a week, Fraser’s clinical practice has organically evolved to focus closely on women’s health conditions. He has a deep interest in hormonal imbalances, endometriosis, PMS and menstrual irregularities, gut health, insomnia, anxiety, stress, and acute or chronic pain. Fraser now runs his acupuncture practice and herbal dispensary on the South Coast of NSW, operating from a professional home-based clinic serving Nowra, Berry, and the surrounding areas.

Each year, Fraser undergoes continuing education in acupuncture, herbal medicine, and integrative health practices, refining his treatment strategies to better support his patients. Often working collaboratively with other practitioners, you can expect a treatment with Fraser to feel welcoming, safe, and professional, with a strong focus on your individual needs.
