About Fraser

about Fraser

Fraser Cobham is a fully qualified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA). He is also a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA).

Fraser’s passion for Chinese medicine began as a result of his own health ailments that manifested in his early adult life. Often feeling discouraged that his symptoms were not being adequately addressed by conventional treatments, Fraser sought to understand the underlying causes. It was this drive which attracted him to Chinese medicine and its rich history and philosophy. A desire to self-heal quickly evolved into a passion to assist others in obtaining a greater sense of health and wellbeing. Utilising his skill in herbal medicine and acupuncture, he now treats at the I Am Mind Body Soul Wellness Hub in Gerringong, as well as operating a professional home-based acupuncture clinic in Cambewarra, servicing Nowra and surrounds.

Over time, Fraser’s clinical practice has naturally evolved to predominately working with female specific health concerns. He has a special interest in treating women with hormonal disorders, fertility issues, IVF support, menstrual irregularities, and chronic digestive complaints. He also frequently treats musculoskeletal conditions, sinus/hayfever, and symptoms related to autoimmunity, insomnia, anxiety, and stress.

Each year, Fraser undergoes continuing professional training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and professional standards to optimise his treatment strategies and outcomes. Often working collaboratively with other practitioners both within and outside his clinical practices, you can expect a treatment with Fraser to feel welcoming, safe and professional, with a strong focus on your individual needs.
